"This was not a good use of special education time, while it is always helpful to review good teaching strategies there are other topics that could have been addressed regarding special education. It seems more like special ed was told to go to this training because there wasn't anything else planned. Materials weren't purchased for us, no breakouts to discussed how this could be implemented in small groups or modified to support students with different disabilities. Mention was made of how these strategies support language learners but they also support kids with disabilities and that just is never pointed out at these trainings. "
