"Some found this a bit rushed, but I appreciated the efficiency. Perhaps newer staff may need another few hour session to really let the material sink in, and as they see it work (or not) in their classrooms."

"Time was very productive, useful information was provided and activities were fun and engaging."
"I have already written down most of my comments, but I wanted to rewrite them again after pondering the training. I was incredibly encouraged that our school had sent people to be trained on this incredibly important topic. They learned the concepts to a meaningful degree and were able to bring the ideas back and present them to us in way that made sense and really helped us see the future of our direction for the school. My problems mainly lie in the fact that the content they were presenting needed about 2 hours more to fully teach and process, much less apply in the ways they asked us. On each of the five different measures, we were asked to determine how it currently applied to 4 different areas in our school, and then extend the ideas to how it could apply and what we could build towards. That was a total of 12 different concepts we were asked to complete within 5 - 10 minutes. These are not simple considerations and are also part of what we will be working towards as a building. To give them such an abbreviated treatment was deeply stressful -- especially because many of the concepts need thoughtful deliberation amongst our staff. Time was not allowed for this. I would like a do-over. I would like for us to really consider the information being presented and then time to deliberate on how to adapt those concepts to our building."
