"Sensitive to audience needs. Up-beat and relative information."
"I really appreciated the instructors not reteaching the concepts they knew we were already familiar with and instead being given extra time to get work done with my PLC team."
"The morning PLC work was very well implemented. The afternoon Dr. Bennett video was not appropriate for the audience. The video got in the way of good and honest conversations. "
"It was good theory to deal with student behavior."

"Have a 30 min lunch rather than an hour so we can either start at 830 or end at 330."
"Think about your audience."
"Instead of having us watch a video become, intimately invested in the topic and inspire us with in person instruction utilizing the skills being taught."

"A bit more time to interact with table groups. I felt rushed to review the questions and we didn't have enough time to really get into practice or activation of material."
"Find presentation more geared to high school teachers/audience. "
"We have had numerous trainings on basic SEL activities, I would like a more in depth training on how to actually help a student who has ACES. I can do a "deck of destiny" activity, but is that actually helping students who have serious ACES/ trauma? "

"The Greg Benner SEL training did not really feel like SEL, but rather classroom management. It was also highly geared towards elementary aged students and many of the techniques simply to not translate to the high school. Furthermore, all of the strategies he suggested are common knowledge in the teaching community and most teachers I know already use these tools in various ways. The entire training felt like a sales gimmick and is not applicable to my daily job. "
"While I enjoy the opportunity to interact with colleagues, I think the afternoon portion could have been more actively presented."
"Thank you."
