Responses: 2"OH MY GOSH!!!!! Every teacher needs to experience an opportunity like this! It was so valuable for me to be able to collaborate with a fellow peer and to merge our ideas to create a GLAD unit. We developed 17 lessons with 10 GLAD strategies (with 4 additional Foundational strategies incorporated daily) for 2 grade levels! We got so much accomplished, will have common instruction happening across the District and are able to support 4th and 5th grade classrooms with the Research Unit we developed! We are excited to put it into practice and to then share with other Librarians across the District. We would LOVE to have another opportunity to develop a Unit for K-3 as well ;)"
