2026-2027 PLC - LIT Team Leader Training (CCDEI 2 hours) - Secondary

The purpose of this training is to provide time for principals and LIT Team Leaders to practice and rehearse the PLC work that they will lead/support during the August Principal Days. 


Outcomes:

1. Review & reflect on SBA & Learning Walk Data: What does our data tell us?

2. Review & reflect on the 3 key tools: Agenda, Revised Team Data Protocol, Instructional Pacing Calendar

3. Preview & provide feedback for Aug 20th Backward Planning Outcomes: Purposeful Pacing: Learn to build in additional time into pacing calendars in order to build conceptual understanding for deep learning. Lesson design: Learn that effective lesson design is grounded in clear learning targets, success criteria and engagement strategies.
