The Special Education Department will provide a district wide training for all para educators before the start of the school year. Topics include belonging and inclusion, supporting all students, understanding behavior, and proactive de-escalation strategies. The training is designed to provide para educators with practical tools and a shared foundation for supporting students across all school settings. Training with Human Resources staff on discrimination and harassment, professional boundaries and an update on important information for the upcoming school year.
