2026-2027 Safety-Care Crisis Team Recertification

The Safety-Care Crisis Team Recertification Course is a one-day training for designated crisis response team members who have previously completed Safety-Care certification. Participants review prevention strategies, behavior escalation cycles, de-escalation techniques, team-based crisis response procedures, and post-incident practices. The course includes updates from the 2026 Safety-Care curriculum and emphasizes implementation of student behavior intervention plans, consistent team responses, and the use of least restrictive practices. Through discussion, scenario-based learning, hands-on skill practice, and competency demonstrations, participants maintain proficiency in approved physical safety procedures while strengthening their ability to safely and effectively respond to behavioral crises in school settings.
