This is a collaboration opportunity for Middle School teachers to gain a better understanding of the foundational standards and units adopted by the Wenatchee School District in elementary schools; to know what content, skills and cross-cutting concepts look like at the K-2 level and 3-5 level, before entering middle school.  6-8 teachers will also have the opportunity to give feedback to the Science Resource Center regarding how later progressions of those same standards show up in their classrooms, so that both elementary and middle school science has greater clarity on which pieces they contribute to in a students science journey from Kindergarten to graduation.
