Teachers will gain a deeper understanding of the science of reading through section 1 of A Fresh Look at Phonics by Wiley Blevins. Through this course teachers will learn to focus on the seven critical ingredients of phonics teaching that produce the greatest learning gains: readiness skills, scope and sequence, blending, dictation, word awareness, high-frequency words and reading connected texts.
