This session will focus on the Cycle of Escalation. Staff will gain an understanding of problem behavior as occurring in an acting out cycle. Staff will learn the phases or zones of the acting out behavior and gain an understanding of how to respond to students in the different phases or zones. This session will not focus on de-escalation but will focus on prevention of escalation and crisis zones.
