"I believe that we need to have differentiated training options for teachers. Many of us in attendance did not need the information that was presented because we have been doing it for a long time."
"In the training it was said we would have time to work on close reading for the next text we have, but we didn't. That would have been nice."

"The PD felt rushed. There was not enough time to practice all the great things in the presentation. As teachers, we know about close reading strategies but I believe there is great value in having us go through the whole process as "students." We didn't have enough time do complete all the activities and at the end, our instructor simply explained what would come next. Suggestion: more time for such an in depth training. Another suggestion, separate middle school from high school--the room was crowded."
