"Our meeting location got double-booked so we had to move to another location in the building."
"Could we please meet somewhere with real chairs? It's loud and uncomfortable in cafeterias. Difficult to sit and discuss with others. K-2 met in the high school commons. Why did 3-5 get stuck with a cafeteria?"

"Since the number of students who need some form of augmentative or alternative communication has increased dramatically in the last few years and those students are spread throughout all of the schools in the district now, several of us did not have the specialized knowledge to appropriately evaluate and serve these students. This time was invaluable for us to look at components of a good AAC evaluation and start developing a plan and supports that each of us can use for this part of our job."
